1. What We Provide

ScreenAwake.online is a free web-based tool that helps prevent your device screen from turning off automatically using standard browser features (Screen Wake Lock API, background video, simulated activity, etc.).

2. No Warranty – Use at Your Own Risk

This tool is provided "as is" with no guarantees.
We do not promise that it will work perfectly on every device, browser, or operating system. Some devices (especially older iPhones) may limit background screen-on functionality.

You are responsible for your own device’s battery life, screen health, and any consequences of keeping the screen active for long periods.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the site for illegal purposes
• Attempt to hack, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the website
• Use automated tools to overload or crash the service
• Remove or alter any copyright or attribution notices

4. Simulated Activity (Mouse/Keyboard)

When enabled, the tool may simulate harmless mouse movement or F15 key presses to prevent sleep. These actions:

• Do not type text or interfere with your work
• Cannot control your device or access personal data
• Are 100% confined to your browser

You may disable these features at any time.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, the operator of screenawake.online is not liable for:

• Battery drain or increased power usage
• Screen burn-in or hardware wear
• Interrupted work or data loss
• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

6. Changes to Service

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time without notice. We are not obligated to keep it running forever.

7. Donations

Donations via PayPal are voluntary and non-refundable. They help cover hosting costs but do not create any contract or entitlement to continued service.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the country where the site operator resides (currently Norway).
